Super
Soaker XP 150Mk.1
Abstract
The water gun of water guns. If you are going to own a water
gun, this is the one you want. I own two. The ruggedness of the XPs with
an excellent water capacity. The 150 will get you through all but the longest
battles with out a refill. Style, durability, and power , make this
one badass gun. The Mk.1 differs from the Mk.2
two ways. The Mk.1 water tank rotates 90 degrees and locks in via two knobs
on the bottom. The knobs are hard to get into place, and get chewed up if
you do not insert them into the main gun carefully. If the knobs become
too small, the tank will not fit correctly on the gun. It only takes you
a few seconds to position the knobs correctly, but in war, those seconds
count. The Mk.1 also has a removable nozzle. See Tips below.
Strategies
The 150 is an excellent primary assult weapon. It's light and compact
enough to not be a hinderance, but packs a lot of H20. It makes an excellent
stand alone weapon because of its mobility and power. With the 150 you can
perform both hit-and-runs and toe-to-toe squirt-fests with ease. Only go
toe-to-toe if you are facing something smaller than the 150, or a 150 running
out of water.
Tips
The removable nozzle on the Mk.1 makes a great last resort defense.
If you're running out of water, or you just want to be unnecessary, screw
the nozzle off counter clockwise. Be careful not to lose the filter
screen. The water release mechanism is now exposed. Without the nozzle, the
water explodes in a 3 cubic foot cloud of soddenness. Make sure of your
shot before you fire. You have limited range, and you will lose all
your pressure and water in the compression tanks. Make sure you get
your mark, because unless the other guy is out of water, you will be Hosed.
This is a dangerous move, but well worth trying.
