Super
Soaker 200
Abstract
The first water gun you saw and thought "man, that is completely
unnecessary." After a lifetime of raw fingers and clear, dinky, water
pistols, finally here was a gun not to be trifled with.Outdated, but classic.
The 200 has fantastic water capacity and a large compression tank, but is
a very fragile and finicky gun. Washers for the tanks are prone to dispalcement
which then leak water and pressure. If the resovoir tanks are screwed in
too far, the backing often pulls apart, creating further problems with leakage.
The barrel is prone to breaking, and the pump doesn't build up significant
pressure quickly. One resovoir tank also has the habit of draining faster
then the other. A high maintnence weapon.
Strategies
This is a gun to loan to your friends on raids. Do not use it unless
you are desperate, because this gun is too much hassle. Perhaps the best
aspect of this gun is its water capacity. If you can get the gun to fire,
it will fire for a long time. The XP series fires hard and fast, but will
peter out pretty quickly. The 200 just keeps goin and going and going like
that godamn pink bunnyrabbit. Hand this to a friend, tell them how not to
break it worse than it is, and use them as H2O fodder. They'll most likely
get Hosed, but the tenacity of the 200 will annoy the hell out of your enemies.
Tips
Try removing the triple nozzle on the front of the gun. This is just
a gimmick as all the streams are the same. Remove the screw from the center
of the nozzles and remove the orange section. It makes the stream a little
more direct and powerful.
